Morrisiby's Gum - Eucalyptus morrisbyi

From the Myrtaceae family

Morrisby’s gum is a small eucalyptus tree native to Tasmania, Australia. Its population is extremely limited, with only a few wild stands remaining.

The tree can reach up to 10 meters in height, with a smooth, whitish bark and an open crown. Its leaves are narrow and dark green, and it produces small white flowers in clusters. The seed capsules are small and woody.

Classified as Critically Endangered (CR), Eucalyptus morrisbyi is threatened by habitat destruction, particularly land clearing for agriculture. Conservation programs focus on habitat restoration and seed collection for future plantings.
